Group of 9 Sterling Silver Serving Ware
Group of nine sterling silver serving ware including:
Two French salt and pepper shakers, each marked with a Minerva.
Two Gorham Manufacturing Co., United States, salt and pepper shakers, marked and numbered 35 along the underside.
Two Rogers, Lunt, & Bowlen, United States, salt and pepper shakers, marked and numbered 1100 along the underside.
One handled cup, one creamer, and one glass vessel with sterling rims.
Height ranges from 3 1/4 in to 5 1/2 in; diameter ranges from 1 1/2 in to 2 3/4 in. Gross weight of sterling (not including the glass item): 22.6 Troy oz.
Condition: The items are in good condition with no visible cracks or losses, or major dents. Light wear and light oxidation throughout, particularly to the underside, as expected from age and use. When inspected under UV light, none of the items show a sign of restoration. All lids open and close smoothly. The footrims of the two French salt and pepper shakers have uneven area due to dents; however, it does not change the overall appearance of the item. One of the Gorham shakers has a minute dent to the underside. The unmarked handled cup has an uneven surface to its underside and along the rim. The unmarked glass vessel with sterling rim has no visible chip to the glass component.
