2 Metropolitan Furniture Co. Lounge Chairs
Metropolitan Furniture Company, San Francisco, CA, United States. Two contemporary Postmodern wood frame lounge chairs, ca. 1990's. Upholstery, maple wood. Retains fabric label along the underside of cushions.
Provenance: Distinguished Corporate Collection, Minnesota.
Each; height: 27 in x width: 31 in x depth: 29 in.
Condition: The chairs are in good condition with no visible rips, tears, or losses. They are structurally stable and all components seem to be firmly attached. As expected, wear throughout. One of the chairs has a network of minute brown accretions to the side; there is a pencil mark that approx. measures 2 inches; left to the pencil mark, there is a 1/4 inch adhesive residue. The other chair has a stain to the cushion, measuring 1/4 inch. Both show wear to the base, consistent with age and use. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
