Russian enameled silver kovsh, mark of Ivan Saltikov, Moscow, late 19th c. The lovely shaded enamel work features brightly colored scrolling motifs on a cornflower blue ground. Impressed "84" standard along the underside.

Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Height: 2 1/4 in x width: 6 1/4 in x depth: 3 1/4 in. Gross weight: 152 grams.
Condition: The item is in excellent condition with no visible dents, cracks, or losses. The enamel is intact; no visible losses. Very light wear throughout. There is an oxidation visible to the top part of the handle. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
