Chinese Lotus Famille Rose Covered Bowl
Chinese porcelain famille rose covered bowl in the form of a lotus blossom. With a six-character Qianlong mark in red along the underside. The seal reads "Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi (Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made)."
Height: 6 in x diameter: 6 1/2 in.
Condition: The bowl is in good condition overall with no major chips or losses or visible cracks. As expected from its age and use, there is wear throughout; there are several areas where the glazing and the gilt have faded. To the interior of the bowl, there is discoloration. Original firing and glazing flaws throughout. To the inner rim of the lid, there is a minute chip. Wear to the underside, consistent with age and use. No sign of restoration under UV light.
