Quezal Glass Feather Arts & Crafts Lamp
Quezal, American. A decorative Arts and Crafts lamp with a glass feather shade painted emerald green with swirling lines that resemble leaves. The glass shade is signed with the mark "Quezal" along the neck.
Quezal was founded by two former employees of Louis Comfort Tiffany's glassworks, Martin Bach and Thomas Johnson. They named the company after the brightly feathered Central American quetzal bird and used similar manufacturing techniques employed by the Tiffany factory.
