R. Gershon Wolf (Binyamin Ze'ev) Banet (born c. 1830, died in 1910), served as Av Bet Din of Ungvár, son-in-law and successor to R. Shlomo Gansfried, author of the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch. Grandson of R. Mordechai Banet, Rabbi of Stomfa, and progenitor of the Banet and Benedikt families. The book Meshiv Ta'am (Jerusalem, 1985) was published from his manuscripts.
