Torah novellae, halachic queries and responsa on Mishneh Torah L’HaRambam by Rabbi Efraim Navon.

The Machaneh Efraim numbers among the prestigious works of Jewish literature and was enthusiastically received and studied both in Ashkenazic and Sephardic communities throughout the Diaspora. It is presently studied extensively in yeshivos as one of the essential works on the Rambam and Nosei Keilim.
Several handwritten notes in Sephardic script on margins.
Rabbi Efraim Navon (1676-1735), author of Machaneh Efraim was a brilliant scholar and dayan in the beis din of the Mishneh Lamelech in Constantinople. In the approbation to the Zolkova edition, the Chasam Sofer writes that “His greatness is famous throughout all the sefarim of the sages of Sephard- the great Achronim.” The Chida in Shem Hagedolim declares, “His comprehensive knowledge and fluency is evident from his great work, and we have heard wonders from his Torah, brilliance and piety.”
