Rabbi Binyamin Wolf Lowey (1771-1841) was a son and student of R. Elazar Lowey (Shemen Rokeach). Renowned as a tremendous Talmid Chochom he served in various rabbinical positions most notably Verbau where in addition to his rabbinical duties he led a large Yeshiva and authored many important halachic works.
Rabbi Yirmiyahu Lev Av Beit Din of Uhal, author of Divrei Yirmiya, one of the greatest Hungarian Rabbis of his generation, was active in Hungarian Jewry. Born in 1811 to Rabbi Binyamin Wolf Lev, author of Sha'arei Torah. He died in 1874.
