Blessing letter written and signed by R' Chaim Ozer Grodzensky, Vilna 1938.

R. Chaim Ozer Grodzensky (1863-1940), was born into a distinguished rabbinical family as was renowned from a young age for his brilliant mind coupled with great diligence. He initially learned in Eishishok and later in Volozhin studying under R. Chaim Soloveitchik. He married the daughter of R. Eliyahu Eliezer Grodensky, the leading Rov of Vilna (son-in-law of R. Yisroel Salanter), whom he later succeeded. He dedicated his life to the needs of the Jewish People and was recognized as the leading Posek and spiritual leader of his generation, consulted on virtually every Jewish communal issue.
