Portuguese silver toothpick holder, 19th century. Male figure with top hat and cane, based on a raised base decorated with flowers, on three hollow feet. With Porto mark (P-55.0b or variant), in use from 1877 to 1881, and FPT maker's mark (P-278.0a), attributable to Francisco Pinto Teixeira, dated from 1887 to 1890. Defects, restorations and signs of use. Weight approx.: 192 g.; Height approx.: 17 cm.
