Tinteiro em prata 833% e pau-santo, A.L.de Souza
Double inkwell in Portuguese silver and Brazilian rosewood, 19/20th century, by AL de Souza Lda. Two inkwells with a circular lid, with profuse relief decoration of fins and plant elements, based on a base decorated with a medallion, shells, fins and flowers, on an elliptical-shaped Brazilian rosewood plate. Adaptation of two ceramic souls, being an inkwell and sandbox, a broken and glued one. With Lisbon contrast mark (Javali I), 1st title, 916 thousandths, by AL de Sousa. A replaced foot and cracks in the rosewood. Signs of use and risks. Comp. approx.: 38.5 cm.
