Developed in 1928 by the designers Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret as part of an avant-garde collection for the Paris Salon d'Automne the chaise longue LC4 caused furore on its premiere and can be considered a milestone of modern furniture history.
