Russian Palekh lacquer two-chambered oval cigarette box, the whole bearing scenes from the tale of "Ruslan and Lyudmila" in polychrome designs on a black ground with red interior, the oval top signed in Russian "Palekh / Ruslan i Lyudmila / Komov, L." and lifting to reveal a match case, the whole lifting to reveal a standing chamber for cigarettes. In original presentation box, 4" H x 4.5" W x 2.75" D
