Southington Patrpoint Silver Plate Cup Collection
Included in this lot we have a collection of five silver plate cups manufactured by Southington or Patrpoint. The collection consists of five silver plate cup containers with two by Patrpoint and three by Southington Co. The pieces display quadruple silver plate construction with ornate designs. The two Patrpoint MFG. Co. pieces display etched flower designs across the sides with floral designs across the rims. The cups are marked across the bottom reading "Patrpoint MFG. Co. Quadruple P Plate New Bedford. Mass". The three remaining pieces where made by Southington C. Co. and show embossed floral and ribbon designs across the sides with the rims showing floral vine designs. The bottoms of the cups are marked "Southington C. Co. Quadruple Plate 127". The collection shows good condition overall with a warm patina across the silver. The largest of the pieces measures 7 1/4" wide by 5 1/2" tall with a diameter of approximately 4".
