В целом хорошее состояние. Загрязнения, пятна от влаги на обложке. Мелкие надрывы на корешке. На страницах встречаются пятна от влаги. Надрыв на первой страниц склеен.
Тираж 50 тыс. экз. Первое издание с рисунками Ильи Кабакова. В последующих изданиях иллюстрации отличаются.
Илья Иосифович Кабаков (род. 1933) — советский и американский художник, представитель московского концептуализма. Работы Кабакова «Жук» и «Номер люкс» являются двумя самыми дорогими когда-либо проданными произведениями современного российского искусства. Кабаков за годы пребывания в СССР проиллюстрировал около 75 детских книг, сборники, а также детские журналы и альманахи.
