Sefer Tiv Shemot Gittin, Likutim on HIlchot Gittin from varied books and with Likutim from Shut Divrei Chaim and from Shut Tzemach Tzeddek by the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch, by the disciple of the Tzemach Tzeddek the Gaon Rabbi Dober Karasik Av Beit Din of Krolovich. First edition, Vilna 1873. [1], 65 leaves. To this copy, an additional, unknown title page was added.
Detached back board. No spine. Moth perforations and stains. Good overall condition.
The author, the Chassid Rabbi Dober Karasik (the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Isac), was a Gaon and a leading disciple of the Tzemach Tzeddek of Lubavitch. Author of Meir Einei Sofrim Hilchot Olam and others. Was the Rosh Yeshiva of Volkovisk and later, Av Beit Din of Holsk and Rav of Krolovich, where he was laid to rest.
