Sha'ar Asher and Gevul Asher on the Rosh on Tractate P{esachim - First Edition Brun, 1789
Tractate Pesachim with the Sha'ar Asher and Gevul Asher by the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yehuda Leib ben Rabbi Mordechai Ashkenazi Av Beit Din of Dreznitz. First edition of the commentary - Brun, 1789. 71 leaves. Approbations by leading rabbis.
Wide margins. Ancient binding with leather spine. Moth perforations and damage. Stains. Fair-poor overall condition.
On the front flyleaf, a fine notation in Rashi script: "מוצל מאש ליל ש"ק י"ז תמוז תר"ג פה טרנאוויץ". On the last page, an additional notation in square yet identical script: "ארי' ליב פריינד מטרנאוויץ תר"ו ל'".. On the title page, an ownership notation by him from 1805. Scholarly glosses on the margins of the leaves.
Additional notations on the title page - have not been studied.
