Rare set, almost complete, in pretty, original bindings. Talmud Bavli with the Rif, printed by Munk. Warsaw 1889.
Set Talmud Bavli “with Rashi’s commentary, Tosafot, Tosafot Yeshanim, Piskei Tosafot, Rabbeinu Asher, Kitzur Piskei HaRosh…notes of the Ashr”i…”. In this edition, different from others of the time, the Halachot of the Rif are also printed.

Printed by Yehoshua Gershon Munk. 19 volumes, almost complete Shas apart from Bava Kama (here missing). Before the title page is a colorful, abbreviated leaf, as well as for Mishnayot of Zra’im. Separate title page for the Rif. Lone volumes from this edition are held by the NLI and reside in the Rare Books section. Bava Metziya is from Romm, Vilna 1912.

Volumes with handsome leather spines, lots of worming holes and damage in the volumes. A few missing title pages, various defects, overall fair condition or worse. Other than already stated, pagination was not checked carefully.

The binding leaves have notes of ownership with the name: “Yehezkel Elimelech ben Yechiel Fischel of Plotzk”—Linder. Brachot has handwritten notes in the margins.
