Medallion of the ChatamSofer, 20th century, Slovakia.
Bronze medal with the image of the ChatamSofer, with a leather box. On the front of the medallion is an embossed relief of the ChatamSofer, in his hands is an open book. The years of his birth and death are listed, and in the background is the cityscape. On the other side is written in English and Slovakian: Museum of Jewish Culture, Slovak Republic.” Stamped medallion, diameter 7cm. Very good condition.
