A large, thick volume, Sefer Yad Kol Boh, an interesting, unique composition containing varied basic Jewish books, by the Gaon Rabbi David Lida Av Beit Din of Amsterdam author of Ir David and more (see below). On the title page, the word "יד" (Yad) is emphasized, indicating the composition contains 14 (י"ד) books, including Chamisha Chumshei Torah - Tikun Korim with Targum and Rashi, Assarah Hillulim - Tehillim with ten commentaries including one by Rabbi David Lida himself, prayers for all year round, Tikun Leil Shavu'ot and Selichot, Ashkenaz and Poland custom. 


In addition, the publisher included several compositions by his father, Rabbi David Lida himself: Sod Hashem and Sharvit Hazahav on the Mitzvah of Milah, Ir Miklat on Taryag Mitzvot, Migdol David and Shomer Shabbat - a summary of HIlchot Shabbat. 


Published by the author's son, Rabbi Petachya - first edition, Frankfurt am Main, 1727.

An impressively engraved title page. It should be noted, that in the same year, an additional edition was printed yet with a different title page. 


Fine printing on healthy paper. Wide margins. Binding that marches the time of printing, fine and detached. Scuffed spine and leather corners. Detached title page. Taping to title page and many additional leaves (mainly to the edges). Moth perforations and damage. Stains and marks of usage. Most of the book is in good overall condition. 


The Gaon Rabbi David Lida Av Beit Din of Amsterdam (ca. 1632-1697) the son of Rabbi Aryeh Leib. Was the son-in-law of Rabbi Wolf Josefow of Lvov who was previously Av Beit Din and Ram of Worms. In addition to the compositions appearing in this volume, authored the books Ir David, Chelkei Avanim and more.
