“Slichot for the High Holidays, minhag Poland, Bohemia, Moravia, Hungary, England, and Denmark, and a few Ashkenazi communities, with Yiddish translation and a short exegesis…by Rabbi Shalom HaKohen.” First edition of this exegesis.
[8], 271 leaves. Half-leather binding, handsome and old. With gilded inscription on the spine: “Slichot S. HaKohen.” Worming holes, a few defects, overall good condition.
A number of places in the book have notes and refutations on the exegesis and corrections to the slichot.
