Especially rare Chassidic siddur: Seder Or Zarua LaTzaddik—Lemberg 1885. First edition of the commentary by Rabbi Shlomo Klluger on the seder tefilla

Siddur in nusach Sfard, Or Zarua LaTzaddik with Derech HaChaim and Nehora HaShalem, tikkunei Shabbat by Rabbi Moshe of Zolshin, and the first edition of the “Yeriyot Shlomo” commentary by Rabbi Shlomo Kluger, and his Pesach Haggadah commentary “still in manuscript”, edited by his son, Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Kluger. There is also a Chassidic commentary “Iyun Tefilla” by Rabbi Shmarya Shmeril (Brandris), son of Rabbi Yaakov, Av Beit Din of Rimlov (see “Moreshet” catalogue #34, Item #168).

In the introduction the editor writes: “I collected dear pearls from the famous holy books revealed on the day the light of the first seven days, marana v’rabana the Baal Shem Tov, and his holy students”, and notes a long list of Chassidic books which went into the making of this siddur. This is an especially rare siddur, not found in various libraries except in much later printings. Due to its great importance, a facsimile edition of one of the later editions was printed by Yeshivat Toldot Aharon in the year 1970 and was welcomed by the Jewish community. The pagination is a little messed up, 432 leaves. Not checked page-by-page. Stains and signs of use, tape and tears, a large number of places have damage to text, especially in Birkat HaMazon and the weekday Amida. Overall poor to fair condition. New inscribed binding.
