Extremely rare. First edition of Chok LeYisrael - cairo, 1740. Two sections.
First and extremely rare edition of Chok LeYisrael.
Sefer Chok LeYisrael contains passages from the oral and written Torah for daily study. It is based on the writings of Rabbi Chaim Vital amd edited by Chacha, Rabbi Yitzchak Baruch of Egypt.
Printed in Cairo, Egypt by the printer Avraham Yatom, who opened his new printery in Egypt that same year. This was the first and also the last book that was printed at his printery (see: A. Yaari Hadfus haIvri BaArtzot haMizrach, section I p. 54, 57).
