Original stamp: "Beis Din Tsedek, K.K. Ashkenazim, Here Ir Hakodesh Tzefas תובב"א - Years of 1840's.
A golden brass stamp with a carved wooden handle of the Ashkenazi Beis Din in Safed where many rabbis, dayanim and geonim served for many years.
The stamp which was used to sign with on all important letters of that period.
The stamp handle is wide and solid due to the need of frequent use.
