AN ANTIQUE PRINTED MAP BY J. N. BELLIN, Paris 1764. CARTE DES ISLES QUI SONT A L'ENTREE DE LA RIVIERE DE CANTON. Copperplate coloured. An attractive and detailed chart, orientated with north to the left, showing the islands at the mouth of the Canton River and Latao and extending past Macao to 'Chang-chuen-chan ou isle de Sancian'. This small chart appeared in the five volume 'Petit Atlas Maritime' of the renowned French hydrographer, Jacques Nicolas Bellin. 220 by 175mm (8.75 by 7 inches).
