Locati LLC of Pineville, PA is pleased to present the Fall 2024 Fine Jewelry Auction featuring the pocket watch collection of Sydney F Martin on November 13. The first part of the sale will include over 100 lots of fine jewelry from local estates and collections. Highlights include a pair of Marcus pins, several pieces of David Yurman jewelry, several good engagement rings, pieces by Tiffany and two wristwatches by Patek Philippe. After a break, the second half of the auction (beginning lot 200) will be nearly 200 lots of pocket watches from makers including Hamilton, American Watch Co., Charles Frodsham, Waltham, Ball, Patek Philippe, William Harpur, Illinois and others. A small offering of wristwatches are included in the sale by Breitling, Hamilton, Girard Perregaux and others. The collection is centered by military and railroad examples which includes military chronometers. Some European examples will be offered including timepieces with repeater function.

An Hermes Paris Silk Scarf: 'Astrologie Dies et Hore', Modern. Having a large central cream medallion framed by carriage springs, centered with carriage boy, decorated with four large carriage bodies to the black ground, finished with a hand-rolled hem. Signed 'F. Faconnet.' to the lower right. Together with a 7 1/4 x 14 1/2in branded gift box and shopping bag.
Designed by Francois Faconnet in 1963.

Condition:
Minor thread snags in the lower left quadrant. General marks, wear, scuffs and surface scratches to the gift box and bag.
