His collection reflects his interest in the Delaware Valley, with an emphasis on mid 18th through early 19th century silversmiths and figured hardwoods vetted by his discerning eye for form and surface. Among the highlights are a Thomas Stretch Philadelphia clock, a collection of figured maple furniture, and silver by noted makers such as Joseph Richardson Sr. and Richard Humphreys.

Two American Picture Frames, Second Quarter 19th Century. Comprising a tiger maple and mahogany veneered rectangular frame and a carved walnut rectangular frame with applied half twist spindles and roundels to the corner blocks. (2)

Dimensions: Dimensions of smaller 17 x 14 3/4in; interior 14 x 12in; Dimensions of larger 22 x 16 1/2in; interior 16 1/4 x 11in.

Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.


Condition:

Each frame retaining their untouched original dry finish. Typical scuffs, abrasions, nicks and surface scratches.
