Five Coin Silver Spoons, 18th century, Including Simeon Bayley
Four 7 1/2" bright-cut spoons by Simeon Bayley (1759 - ?) NY, monogrammed at the handle "J A S", marked at the back, together with a 9" serving spoon by John David (1736 - 1793), also bright cut with monogram "L E G" at the handle marked at the stem, there is decoration to the back of the bowl that has heavy wear.
Dimensions: The total approximate weight is 6.10 troy ounces
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition:
The spoons by Bayley are all in good condition with expected wear, the larger spoon by David has heavy surface wear to the and some dings to the bowl.
