His collection reflects his interest in the Delaware Valley, with an emphasis on mid 18th through early 19th century silversmiths and figured hardwoods vetted by his discerning eye for form and surface. Among the highlights are a Thomas Stretch Philadelphia clock, a collection of figured maple furniture, and silver by noted makers such as Joseph Richardson Sr. and Richard Humphreys.

A Set of Silver Table Spoons, Joseph Richardson Sr.
A set of six tablespoons by Joseph Richardson Sr. (1711 - 1784), Philadelphia, each spoon marked twice at the stem "IR", and each with a Plumstead family crest at the handle.
Dimensions: 8 1/2" long, approximately 11.11 troy ounces.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of C. Thomas Attix Jr., East Windsor, New Jersey.
Condition:
All in good condition with minor surface wear, one has a small ding to the rim of the bowl.
