An Assembled Group of French and English Table Boxes, Third Quarter 19th Century. Comprising a French cut brass inlaid ebony and rosewood glove box by Maison Vervelle, Paris; a Napoleon III cut brass inlaid glove box; and an English walnut lap desk. Together with a Williamsburg Restoration mahogany bombe tea caddy form jewelry box by Virginia Metalcrafters. Maison Vervelle founded 1804 at 1, rue Neuve-Montorency Feydeau by Jean-Francois Vervelle. Specializing in small pieces of furniture; boxes, cases, liquor cabinets, etc.

Each with general marks, wear, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses. The ebony glove box is in generally good condition, with a small loss around the key hole. With key.
