A pair of matching portraits of a husband and wife, unsigned and in matching original gilt gesso frames. With old Newman Galleries tag verso.
Dimensions: each is 30" x 25", the frames 38" x 33".
Provenance: Property from a Philadelphia Main Line Collection.
Condition:
Both relined and there are minor areas of repair and inpainting. The woman's canvas is somewhat loose in one area.
