English Figured Walnut Lady's Dressing Box
An English Parcel Ebonized Figured Walnut Lady's Dressing / Jewelry Box, Third Quarter 19th Century. The hinged top and fall enclosing a series of small compartments over a single drawer with small removable writing slope with a parcel gilt and tooled leather writing surface, having a spring lock and brass release pin.
Dimensions: Height 9 1/4in; width 13 1/2in; depth 9 3/4in.
Condition:
General marks, wear, scuffs, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses overall. The interior with some loss and damage to the partitions. Shrinkage, age cracks, nicks, dings and dents throughout. With key. Wear and tear to the silk tufted upholstery to the lid.
