Pair of Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze and Marble Cassolettes
A Pair of Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze and White Marble Cassolettes, Circa 1900. Each stamped 'MADE IN FRANCE' to the underside.
Dimensions: Height 8in; diameter 3in.
Condition:
Nicely cast and finished. One cassolette candlestick has a slight wobble, due to a loose nut underneath the base, and lacking fastening pins to the filigree decoration around the base. Small areas of verdigris to bronze mounts. Toning, rubbing and wear to high points. Small fleabites to marble.
