Three Continental Tin Glazed Faience Tankards
A Group of Three Continental Tin Glazed Faience Tankards, 18th Century. Each mounted with a pewter lid and polychromed decoration.
Dimensions: Heights range from 8in to 9 3/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Virginia Collection.
Condition:
Toning, darkening and minor bending to the pewter. The smallest tankard with hairlines and small losses around the foot. The largest example with an old "make-do" pewter strap handle, with hairlines to the base where the handle meets the earthenware body. Each with typical wear and rubbing to surface decoration, otherwise generally good condition overall.
