A Napoleon III Gilt Bronze and Kingwood Jardiniere
A Napoleon III Gilt Bronze and Porcelain Mounted Rosewood and Kingwood Jardiniere, Third Quarter 19th Century. Fitted with a zinc liner to the interior.
Dimensions: Height 7 1/2in; width 14in; depth 9 3/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Local Collection.
Condition:
The gilt bronze mounts with varying quality to casting. Shrinkage, lifting and minor buckling to veneered surface. Scattered areas of verdigris to bronze mounts. The zinc liner with bending, oxidation, rust and losses throughout.
