Fine art includes a 17th century Dutch portrait of a woman and works by Amelia Pelaez, Eusebio Sempere, William Langson Lathrop, Walter Granville-Smith, Andre Cottavoz, Giovanni and Antonio Martino, Elizabeth Quale O'Neill Verner and Andre Gisson. Group of American Hardwood Sewing Boxes
An assembled group of three sewing boxes, 19th-20th century, comprising a three-tier string inlaid mahogany sewing box with turned bone finials at corners, and a pull-out mirror, raised on ball feet, the lift-off top surmounted by a pin cushion; a birdseye maple and mahogany sewing box, having a velvet pin cushion above a small drawer and a Chippendale style mahogany sewing box, surmounted by a pin cushion with six spool holders above a small drawer, together with a pin cushion and miniature painted tole tray.
Dimensions:Height of largest 9 1/4in; width 8 3/4in; depth 6 1/2in.
Provenance:From a Bucks County Estate.
Condition: Each with typical marks, wear, scuffs, scratches, small losses. Heaviest wear to fabric of pin cushions on each.
