Four American brass studded leather document boxes, early 19th century, each with a brass lock and bail handle to the hinged lid.
Dimensions:Height of smallest 2 3/4in; width 7in; depth 4 1/4in; height of largest 4 3/4in; width 9in; depth 5 1/2in.
Provenance:From a Bucks County Estate.
Condition: Three examples having their leather bound hinged lids torn. Heavy wear and loss to each overall.
