A Three Piece American Coin Silver Tea Set
Circa 1830, each with a rectangular foot below a lobed body, the teapot and sugar with urn form finials., the three pieces are unmarked. The lot include coin silver tongs marked for the New York makers Andras and Richard and a 20th century tray in silver plate by Reed and Barton.
Dimensions:The tongs are 6 1/2" long, the tray is 16" in diameter. The set ranges from 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" to 11 1/2" x 4 1/2", the heights range from 6" to 8". The total approximate gross weight of all the pieces excluding the tray is 54.2 troy ounces.
Provenance:From a Bucks County estate.
Condition: Very good condition overall, some expected wear.
