Quarter Horse and Foal is an original watercolor on laid paper by American Western genre and animal painter Vic Donahue. Includes a business card, personal letters with biographic elements, others addressed to his long-lost sweetheart, and photographs. These items are placed in an envelope with Vic Donahue's caricatural self-portrait on the back of the frame. Inscription on verso: Quarter Horse and Foal (accepted plate design for Bradford Exchange Inc) 3/20/91. Signature on lower right: Vic Donahue. Housed in a wood frame with a circular off-white mat.
