Color lithograph on wove paper entitled 'Crying Girl' after Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein. With bright flat colors, simplified forms and a near perfect application, Lichtenstein represented a young woman overwhelmed by her feelings, a theme that he refined in the 1960s. The offset lithographs of Crying Girl were originally made for Lichtenstein's exhibition at Leo Castelli Gallery in New York City. Signature in pencil on lower right: R. Lichtenstein. Housed in a black frame with a red mat and black border. Sight dimensions: 17.25"L x 13.25"H. Frame size: 24"L x 20"H x 0.75"W.
