Doulton Lambeth Hannah Barlow Stoneware Stein
A beautiful large stein with incised figures of deer and elk. An exquisite 1760s German silver-plated lid with an embossed image of the 1749 Danish coin Rejsedaler-Frederik V. Reverse image of the coin is seen on the underside of the lid. Handle adorned with a crowned lion holding a ball. The stein was custom made by Doulton to fit the lid. Doulton Lambeth stamped. Artist initials.
