Doulton Lambeth Hannah and Florence Barlow Stoneware Vase
Incised design of horses, owl and modelled flowers and foliate forms. Artists signatures incised on bottom.
Greatly decorated with pair of relaxed horses grazing on one side and a pate-sur-pate owl resting on a tree branch in the moonlight on the other. Both are framed in a tube-line and glazed hues of green and blue. More modelled foliate float on a intricately decorated buff background. Neck is decorated with tube line foliate forms. Colors are high glaze washes of warm browns, light blue and light sage green. Doulton Lambeth England impressed.
