52 Stereoscopic Glass Slides Showing Photos of Palestine
Collection of 52 stereoscopic glass slides showing photographs of the Holy Land and the area. The photos include documentation of the Jewish Wailing wall in Jerusalem, the Tomb of Rachel by Bethlehem, Tiberias, Nazareth, and apparently a Druze village. About half of the slides depict views in Damascus, Syria, Baalbek and Constantinople. Produced by Verascope Richard, France. Circa the early 20th century. Some of the slides are described in French. Set in cardboard boxes.
Approximately 11X4.5 cm. Condition varies, good average condition, fading, wear.
