Important work of responsa on the 4 sections of the Shulchan Aruch, by R. Chaim Ha’Cohen Rappaport of Ostrog. Responsa number 27 mentions R. Yisroel Ba’al Shem Tov during his lifetime.
This edition includes approbations by R. Avrohom Yehoshua Heschel of Apta, R. Mordechai of Chernobyl and R. Shalom Rokeach of Belz (Sar Shalom).
Published at the renowned Zhitomir press by the brothers R. Chanina Lipa and R. Yehoshua Heschel Schapiro.
As is well known, seforim printed by the Schapiro family press were exceptionally favored by many of the great Chassidic Rebbes and in turn by their followers.
