Invitation to the wedding of the granddaughter of R. Yoel Ashkenazi of Tiveria, with an autographed note by R. Ashkenazi to the Satmar Rav and a separate autograph note (in Yiddish) to the Satmar Rebbetzin.
R. Yoel Ashkenazi (1884-1970), was a son of R. Boruch Ashkenazi of Zborow, a scion of various great rabbinical families. As a child he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel with his father, where they settled in Tzfas.
He married the daughter of R. Noach Weinberg, leader of the Slonim community in Tiveria. He was known as a distinguished talmid Chochom and was a close Chasid of the Satmar Rav who was his relative.
