Tur Yoreh Deah, Even Ha’Ezer and Choshen Mishpat with the first edition of the Beis Yosef commentary by R. Yosef Karo. Although R. Yosef Karo also wrote the Shulchon Oruch, he is known by the title of his first sefer as “The Beis Yosef”. Later incorporated into almost every edition of the Tur, it has been accepted for generations as the most prominent commentary on the Tur and they are consistently learned together as Tur-Beis Yosef.

Magnificent vellum binding. With signature of R. Yehosef Schwartz (1805-1865), author of Sefer Tevuos Ha’Aretz and distinguished SHaDaR of the Old Yishuv.

Choshen Mishpat: Sabbioneta 1559. Vinograd Sabbioneta 49. Tuvia Poah press. 332 pages. 39 cm. Overall very fine condition. Some staining and wear on the margins. Last 2 pages with some repairs, slightly affecting some text. Magnificent leather binding.
