Japan Meiji Zeit 1868 bis 1912, Elfenbein, das Inro ist vierteilig, die Oberfläche ist mit Ritzzeichnungen gestaltet. Auf der Vorderseite ist eine Geisha abgebildet, auf der Rückseite eine Seelandschaft. An der Kordel ist eine einfache Kugel (Ojeme) zum Festschnüren der einzelnen Segmente. Es ist in die späte Meiji-Zeit einzuordnen, H 74 mm x B 43 mm x T 16 mm, Gewicht 48,90 Gramm,
Provenienz: Vormals Privatsammler und Unternehmer aus Rheinberg NRW, Erbschaft als Nachlasspflegschaftsverfahren durch die Rechtsanwaltskanzlei in Moers als bestellter Nachlasspfleger beauftragt vom Amtsgericht Rheinberg.
Für dieses Exemplar liegt ein Gutachten von Matthias Streckfuß aus Berlin vor. Anerkannter Sachverständiger im Sinne des § 51 Abs.1 Bundesnaturschutzgesetz, durch das Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und nukleare Sicherheit in Bonn – Bundesamt für Naturschutz BfN.
