1953B $2 Red Seal United States Note Grades Choice CU. 1953 red print two dollar bills can be broke up into four different types by signature combination; 1953 – Ivy Baker Priest (Treasurer of The United States) and G.M. Humphrey (Secretary of the Treasury), 1953A – Ivy Baker Priest and Robert B Anderson, 1953B – Elizabeth Rudel Smith and C. Douglas Dillon, 1953C – Kathryn O’Hay Granahan and C. Douglas Dillon. 1953 two dollar bills feature Thomas Jefferson as the central figure. The back of the bill shows Monticello. These were printed in Washington DC and circulated across the country. They have red overprints and a red seal on the right hand side of the bill. You can find the following phrases on the bill: “Two Dollars, United States Note, The United States of America will pay to the bearer on demand Two Dollars” “This note is a legal tender at its face value for all debts public and private”
