ALL $1 OPENINGS! EVERY SINGLE LOT IS STARTING AT $1!

We are very excited to present 600+ lots of The Massive Texas Oil Rare Coin Collection.

This auction is featuring The Texan Collection, entirely put together with East Texas Oil Money! East Texas oil dates back to the 1930’s, a time that people referred to as

"the gusher age" or the "Texas oil boom".

It was unprecedented.  A period of dramatic change and economic growth in Texas. The discovery that began the boom was near Beaumont Texas, the find was unprecedented in its size.  The gentleman who consigned this collection can trace his ancestors back to this find.

He has been collecting for more than half of his life. His collection boasts an impressive display of variety.  He was a man of broad taste, but had particular interests in rare gold.

1794 Talbot, Allum & Lee Talbot/Howard MULE London edge Breen-1049/Hampshire-56 xf40 SEGS. British philanthropist John Howard is featured on the portrait side of this interesting Talbot, Allum & Lee mule The Talbot, Allum & Lee Cents were made in England at the request of the New York firm of Talbot, Allum & Lee for use as One Cent pieces in their business. The Talbot, Allum & Lee Cents belong to a series of tokens known, collectively, as Conder Tokens (named after James Conder, who compiled a listing of the several thousand types and varieties). As a result, the TAL token dies were often muled with incongruous other Conder Token dies and/or the edges are inconsistent with the original intent.Perhaps the most curious association with regular U.S. coins is that many of the 1795 TAL cents were cut down, then used as planchets for Half Cents in 1795 and 1797. On many such coins, much of the original undertype is still visible on one or both sides of the Half Cents. A Key Date's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away Coin
