This petite production was given to children who attended the cornerstone-laying ceremony:
“Children! Today… is a great and holy day. On this day, we are founding a home from which to learn science and wisdom for the glory of our nation. And the name of this home - ‘University’ …
Every enlightened nation has at least one large school like this… Only we, the Jewish people, have not had a special university…
You are fortunate to be educated in our Land, the Holy Land, and learn in Hebrew schools… [you] will not have to wander to foreign lands to seek wisdom and knowledge there. Rather, you will find it in your land and learn in your language…
Thus, you children who have merited to witness the cornerstone laying of this house, must now bless ‘Shehechiyanu’.”
